Pics I found
Hey I found some pic while going through some old files. Here they are. One question for Forest, what was the author that we talked about often? He had a book about how kids that lived in the country had the advantage of having lots of wild places to explore and how city kids had the advantage of being close to museums and other cultural things while suburban kids get nether. Do you remember?

...that book was called "The Death and Life of Great American Cities" by Jane Jacobs. You might also check out "Geography of Nowhere: The Rise and Decline of America's Man-Made Landscape" by James Howard Kunstler. Which presents a somewhat different (but no less critical) take on suburbia. Jared may remember Kunstler's other book: "The Long Emergency" about the end of the oil age which I think he read. Anyway, they are all good reads and I would recommend them.
